Frequently Asked Questions

Why is HTML5 important?

The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), the international standards organization for the World Wide Web, announced in February 2011 that HTML5 will be the official recommendation of web standard by July 2014.

HTML5 is an alternative to Adobe Flash and includes features for playing audio and video. The big advantage of HTML5 over Flash is the compatibility with Android and IOS (Android tablets and phones, Apple tablets and phones). The death of Adobe Flash, the once dominant web technology, is due to the slow mobile development. Adobe Flash missed the train and is now redundant.
